South Kent Mind

South Kent Mind is a local mental health charity based in Folkestone.

In Spring 2023, I worked closely with their management team to deliver a complete redesign of their website. Our main priority was to enhance usability and accessibility, making it easy for service users to find essential information. The design also adhered closely to the national Mind charity’s brand guidelines.

Since the redesign, I’ve collaborated with South Kent Mind on an almost daily basis, acting as an extension of their team. From rewriting and formatting articles to sourcing images and providing ongoing technical expertise, I ensure the website remains dynamic and effective.

As we move into 2026, we have several exciting new projects in the pipeline. I’m passionate about building lasting partnerships with my clients, offering consistent support and expertise to help their online presence grow and thrive.

Romney Marsh Community Hub

The RMCH is an independent charity committed to enhancing the health and wellbeing of older generations in the local community.

In collaboration with an external marketing agency, I recently completed a comprehensive redesign of the charity's main website. The project was driven by a shared goal to create a platform that would better serve the community by improving usability and accessibility, making it easier for service users to navigate and find the information they need.

Beyond functionality, we focused on ensuring the website reflected the charity’s mission and values by aligning closely with its established brand guidelines. The result is a modern, user-friendly website that serves as a valuable resource for the community while reinforcing RMCH’s commitment to supporting its audience.

It has been a rewarding experience to work on such a meaningful project, and I look forward to seeing how the new website helps the charity grow its impact and reach in the years to come.

The River Haven Hotel

The River Haven Hotel is a welcoming hotel in the historic town of Rye, East Sussex.

In late 2024, I completed a comprehensive redesign of their website, transforming it into an engaging platform that enhances usability and highlights the hotel’s unique features. From showcasing their comfortable accommodations to promoting their versatile private hire facilities, the site now effectively reflects the hotel’s offerings.

Since the redesign, I’ve built a strong working relationship with the hotel’s small team. I regularly update the website with fresh content, source ideas for seasonal promotions, and collaborate on strategies to attract more bookings. Together, we continue to refine and expand the site to support the hotel’s growth and ensure it remains a valuable asset for their business.
